Apple Keynote presentation design

Keynote design built around the speaker and the screen.

MEET creates Apple Keynote presentations for corporate stories, technology conferences and launch events. We bring content structure, visual direction, information design and agreed presentation support into one project, with the final file prepared for its intended playback environment.

Give the audience a clear route through the story.

A keynote talk needs a sequence that works while a speaker is speaking. The slides must make the main point visible, give evidence enough space and introduce technical detail in a useful order. We start with the audience, the speaking occasion and the decisions the presentation needs to support.

Our Keynote design scope can include reviewing the source material, planning the slide structure, establishing a visual direction, designing diagrams and data slides, and building presentation animation. Existing brand guidelines and product information provide the starting point. We agree the responsibility for translation and technical fact-checking with your team.

In this service, Keynote means Apple’s presentation software. An executive keynote speech can also be produced in PowerPoint when that is the required production format. The speaking occasion and the file format are separate decisions.

Three different uses of Keynote.

  • Roborock corporate presentation: a 30-slide Keynote deck connecting company credentials, the product portfolio and technical innovation. The project record describes content structuring, visual direction and information layout.
  • Momenta conference presentation: a 25-slide Keynote deck using models, paths and data-flow diagrams to explain a technology argument, with on-site conference support.
  • SUN·Day event presentations: four Keynote presentations totaling 120 slides, with related chapter identities and on-site delivery support.

These examples show how the visual system follows the communication problem. A corporate introduction, a focused technology talk and a multi-speaker event require different structures, even when they use the same software.

Use animation to explain a relationship or control a reveal.

Motion is most useful when it helps the audience follow a process, understand a change or see the relationship between parts. We plan the order of information alongside the speaker’s narrative. A diagram can build in stages; a product detail can appear at the point where the speaker discusses it.

Agree which sequences need manual control, which need automatic playback and which should be delivered as video. Rehearsal can reveal where a build is too slow, where the speaker needs another cue or where a still version would be clearer. Animation and supporting films are scoped around the presentation’s purpose and technical requirements.

Plan for the machine that will run the presentation.

Confirm the Keynote version, playback computer, screen ratio, resolution, fonts, audio requirements and presenter-control arrangement early. Those details affect how slides are designed and how media is prepared. Ultra-wide and custom screen adaptation should be part of the brief, rather than a last-minute export request.

PowerPoint exports and PDF backups can be agreed when needed. A conversion should be checked in the destination software: layout, fonts, media and animation need review before an exported file becomes a show file. A PDF supports reading and backup, but does not reproduce the live animation sequence.

Our launch and on-site support scope can include playback checks, rehearsals, final-version coordination and remote or on-site presentation support. Availability, location and responsibilities are confirmed for the project.

Questions about commissioning Keynote design.

What do we need to provide?

Send the speaker’s purpose, available script or draft deck, audience, speaking time, brand materials, approved product information and the event deadline. Flag missing inputs so the schedule can account for them.

Can different speakers share one visual system?

Yes. The SUN·Day project is one example of chapter-specific color and content within a coherent event identity. We agree the shared elements and the distinctions between talks before rolling out the design.

Will we receive an editable Keynote file?

The file format, editable elements and supporting exports are defined in the agreed delivery scope. Embedded films and rendered visuals have separate source-file requirements. See our PowerPoint and Keynote decision guide if several teams need to edit the presentation.
